1) His complete name is Thomas Jacob.
2. He is the second of nine children, in an Irish Catholic family.
3. He started to work at 18.
4. With the money he earned, he bought jeans and pants and customized it. He reselled them in his neighborhood.
5. His parents wanted him to be an ingeneer but he refused.
6. He´s a huge fan of Ralph Lauren.

8. After this bankruptcy he was offered designing positions at various brands, such as Calvin Klein, but declined.
9. He then founded the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation in 1984.
10. His Brand was created intentionally for campus young students until rapper Snoop dog start wearing it. Afterwards Tommy started to design clothes with a more baggy and relaxed style.
